General Donations
Join our ODB movement to help connect homeless teens, older and former foster youth and those aging out of foster care to hope, resources, and life skills education. Be That One to Help the One. Make a contribution of $25, $50, $100 or whatever you can afford to support our work at The Orange Duffel Bag Foundation.
Operation Orange
Be that One — an ODB Hero. Host an event or use a holiday as a fundraiser to sponsor an Orange Duffel Bag (or more!) for the One who needs your help. Wear ODB Orange – the color of energy and change – and invite family, friends, co-workers to join the Operation Orange movement. Give hope and reach out to a homeless teen or former foster youth.
Books for Group Foster Homes
Donate $500 to sponsor a case of My Orange Duffel Bag books, which will allow us to give them to a group home for youth in foster care. Reading the book is the first step on their journey to radical change.
Life Coaching
A $2,500 donation provides an at-risk youth with our full 12-week professional life coaching. Upon graduation, each young person receives an orange duffel bag filled with useful items and is matched with an ODBF advocate, a caring adult who helps assist the ODBF graduate on his or her journey.
Gratitude
Remember a teacher, coach, parent, mentor or other ODB hero in your life by making a donation to celebrate a loved one’s special occasion—a birthday, anniversary, graduation or a wedding. When an In Gratitude gift is received, The Orange Duffel Bag Foundation will promptly send a personalized tribute card to the person or family indicated notifying them of your thoughtful donation, but keeping the amount confidential. Every gift is tax-deductible and the donor receives an acknowledgement for his or her donation.
Remembrance
The ODB Memorial Campaign provides the opportunity to make a donation in memory of a loved one or friend who made a difference in your life or the lives of young people. When an In Memory gift is received, The Orange Duffel Bag Foundation will promptly send a personalized tribute card to the person or family indicated notifying them of your thoughtful donation, but not revealing the amount of the donation.
